This program is designed to assist your NSW Business to win new export sales in targeted international markets, through;
• introductions to new international customers
• international networking and promotional opportunities
• market intelligence briefings and workshops, and
• cultural training.
Participants will benefit from a free 10-month intensive engagement program designed to give you a deeper understanding of high growth export markets and put your world class goods and services into the hands of overseas buyers.

Eligibility
We invite NSW businesses who are:

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
-
Export capable or export ready
-
Looking to start exporting or diversify into new export markets
Eligibility criteria include:

ABN confirming NSW based business
-
Be able to commit time and resources to complete a 10-month program
-
Willing and able to travel to Sydney for workshops and program events as may be required and to the selected market in 2021 should border restrictions be eased

Committed to adapting a product or services to ensure suitability for the targeted export market
Participation
Businesses will be asked to submit an export plan to support their expression of interest, which will be used to assess their readiness and suitability for each program.
Spaces are limited. The number of participants on each program will be capped at 12 companies to allow businesses to receive assistance tailored to their unique business needs.
Businesses will be able to participate in up to two unique programs.
The majority of the Program will be delivered online due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Costs
The NSW Government will cover the costs of Going Global business program.
Participating businesses cover their own travel expenses associated with the program, including airfares, meals, accommodation, visas and insurance. The in-market/travel component will depend on COVID-19 international travel restrictions being lifted.
You may be able to claim some marketing and promotional costs associated with this mission through the NSW Government’s Export Assistance Grant.

Selection Process
Once received through the online EOI system, all applications will undergo an eligibility check based on the criteria above. Eligible applications will proceed to the assessment process.
Selection panels will comprise experienced government and industry professionals with relevant sectoral expertise, including representatives from NSW Treasury, Austrade and relevant industry associations.
